At Bonds tours chalet in Alice where they all camped, Bonds Inter KB7 semi bus on the left with radiator scoop, still overheated and we took the sides off the bonnet, was OK then.

We were allowed an hour off school to stand in the school yard & watch all the Redex cars go past. Was around the same time as Donald Campbell's Bluebird too? It was on a semi & called in at most schools on it's way to the salt lake.

Bluebird was also put on display in (Myers equivalent) Adelaide store for a week or so, and they were the days when kids could touch things. Bit too young to remember too much of it, except the big wheels and special tyres.
