Shows how observant I am. I thought the Betoota bus had gone when I went past at night earlier this year. Here it still is taken 3 days ago.

The Betoota bus begs the question; where did it come from as it doesn't look like a Sydney bus.

Lack of a grill suggests another trolley bus.

Perhaps they used the same extension cord as the Bollards Lagoon one? ;D ;D

I'd love to know how they both got where they are.

Think of the cost of floating them up the Stez back in the day.

I first saw the Betoota bus in around 1980.

Could it have been flat towed all that way.

And what about the story of the Betoota bus going to Birdsville for the races so the nice young ladies could ply their trade. Clearly it wasn't being driven.

I'm a intrgued :-? :-? :-? :-?

Adelaide's trolley bus system closed in the 1960s. Old buses being towed on a straight bar or a-frame would not have frowned on in those good-old-days. Or at worst a lift and tow would have moved it fairly cheaply.

You'll need 600v for this one.
