I recall there was a yard on the left hand side just after the tunnel, where the "victims" were often parked up.

A couple of my photos from the '60's.
The first one is an AB180, AA180, R190 and '66 Atkinson. The second one is the Atkinson on the train from Port Augusta to WA.

Oilman, what sort of fatal percentage rate were you working on, leaving them on for so long, while going across the paddock ?
