Greetings. The first in the last batch was Lyndar's D Reo. I remember seeing it go past Nuri High School on the back of a flat bed trailer- had brocken mirrors- never did see it again. The M A N was operated by Fast Freight, the Atkinson next was Padlock Trading and I don't know who the Oshkosh belonged to- photo was taken between Cowra & Grenfell. The coluor Road Commander was for G W Norman who in later years changed brand loyalty to a K model kenworth- took that photo at the start of '73. The 8 x 4 Atkinson was the Department of Weights & Measures, then a couple of Robinvale's taken inEuston in '73. The 4 x 2 Atkinson was a K R Sneath, the 6 x 4 a D Meek taken at the Sydney Haulage Terminal and Mal Wilkinson's Volvo was taken in Yass in '73 also. OK, that'll do for now. Next week then.

Hayseed- I'm suffering a bit of memory loss when it comes to the R model- may have been taken on one of our photo safaris to Sydney mid 70's- I was trying to work out what is written on the building- maybe some sort of pastoral outlet therefore rural. If I remember I'll ask Nifty next time we catch up. The Road boss is Tasmania as is the red W model- taken at DETCO Launceston in '79. I've re-shuffled all my photos to be in posting order of this page so I can't get before R model & after photos to look for other clues. I've been scanning my early 70's truck brochures and advertising & promo mags and stuff- I wrote to American sales outlets for Oshkosh, Kenworth and others after getting my first Overdrive magazine-so I've got stuff I couldn't get from dealers in Australia. I've scanned over 1000 pages so far and won't be finished for some time yet. Anyways, next time.

Hayseed, I sent Nev a pic to his phone and he's saying the main street of Seymour on the old Hume Highway. Would that make sense to you? I'll take his word for it.
