Fiat trucks, lots of bad memories there. I remember Panucci’s had one, and decided it was cheaper to leave it parked up, rather than send it down the highway.

The people I know that had them had nothing but good things to say about them, I guess like all things there was good and bad experiences with them
I think lack of support when Fiat pulled out of the Australian truck market never helped their cause

Bit like the FIAT/IVECO now. Lots of Collingwood vs Carlton comments but they seem to be increasing their market share.

Greetings. Didn't see a lot of Fiat trucks when I had the camera with me. The bogie jobbie was a E Cepero , no names for the next two and the red one was a Lagazino and the one with the butterbox getting in on the action was a Dolphin Transport. The other two I have no names for, all taken in '72 or '73, and I don't know who's the Diamond Reo belonged to- that was taken between Bathurst and Blaney. The E R F was a Hornsby Transport and I'm fairly certain that the Kenworth with the neatly tarped tri-axle was Cummins powered with an Allison automatic- I have been told who that belonged to way back near the start of this thread- if I recall correctly the owner had only one arm. Used to see it passing through Nuri quite often and I finally got a photo of it on one of my fun runs in Rob's M A N. Next week then.
