A old member that like many others has got lost thru updates has contacted me because the forum is a challenge to sign up to now for some

Anyway "Stuck in Gear" asked me to share this picture he has come across on the Western Gold thread



I noticed the photo had WG..Turnbull come up on the link, maybe thats the truck owner or something

Anyway not many Marathons made it to Australia and of those that did I think their life was pretty short

Thats got a long wheel base

looks like it is an unrelated person but a couple of days ago a Luke contacted us offering some Western Gold pictures which have just come through so I will upload them soon.

these images were provide by Luke,the seven year old in the first image.

"The pic with two blokes and kid looking at pic left is Ian McNair me about 7 and my father Ray Whiticker (Bondi) he drove R model E9 later it got a dog box on it."
"Sorry forgot I Rember he worked with Ray Angove Sam Bajwa (Samy overload) and wombat."
