Sunny Queensland. LOL
You blokes have as much luck as Sandown.
ps: You better make the inside as wet as the outside then.

was raining in coastal Brissy but hardly a drop on the downs today. We got blessed with rain here today but only amounted to 11mm.

We got 54mm overnight in Brisbane but a friend in Warwick said they just had a light fall. Only the odd shower after hot days is predicted for the weekend.
Cam helped me get the Commer registered yesterday. We are out of control with paperwork and the girl had a stack of 9 - yes 9 - bits of paper on her desk when she had finished issuing me with a set of historic plates.
The Perkins is putting out all its mighty 120hp (maybe a bit less for wear and tear) and won't have any trouble keeping up with the Series One Landrover club boys up the range.

Conflicting information - There has been a report that Allora (25 km north of Warwick) got 60mm.

Just talked to my mate Allan who has a property halfway between Cunninghams Gap and the Toowoomba/Warwick turnoff (about 30km as the crow flies from Allora) and he said he only got 18mm.
Looks more like scattered storm activity rather than the continuous overcast and rain of the past few years. Unfortunately that showground at Allora seems to have some sort of water magnet.
Commer is going rain hail or shine.

Report from Cam at 3.00pm
Grounds slightly soft but driveable and drying out in strong sunshine. Scattered clouds on the horizon but nothing coming towards Allora at this time.
