I know that there is camping on site but can anybody recommend something else nearby? We have a tent but my wife can't get onto a ground level bed after all the joint replacements.
We have tried the Internet but all the motels etc are booked out. I hope it's all with people coming to the show! ;)

Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!

Couple of questions asked at Dubbo on the weekend.

1) Can people arrive Friday afternoon or what time Saturday can they get in.

2) Can people camp Sunday night after the show.

3) Is there showers on site to use

4) Is there power available

BCSV people are regular contributors of displays and of spectators. No details yet, but BCSV is turning one or more of the positioning moves into member-travel on the Sunday, adding to the ability to get there by PTV scheduled buses. That is like airshows, when aircraft bring enthusiasts from Melbourne Essendon (DC3 to Point Cook and to Avalon) or from interstate (domestic jet to Avalon), and then become part of the display themselves.

We found some accommodation across the road from the racecourse at a place called Melba Lodge which I found while googling Swishy's suggestions. So the boss is happy which is a good start for the weekend.

Don't forget this is coming up soon.

Note it is about 3 weeks earlier than before so you may need to take the polishing rags out early :)

Looks like this one will fit into the roster, (only one swing away) better make sure the ole truck still starts before going back to work.
