A era has come to a end

Well after 31 years of constant work (44 years actual age) must have been a good product. Old Mack is retiring
I didn't think it would hurt so mutch, but all things must come to an end. :'(

The replacement not new but it'l do me.....

Mark, I bet that truck won't be able to be morphed into a later model as the years go by. Is the Green machine staying at home or being traded?

Cam.. after checking it out there is hardly any room for improvement so i think i will be stuck with it for a while.
Thinking back morphing the old banger, it was kind of fun doing it along the way. I didn't trade it still have it
it's not realy worth a lot these days, most probably sell it
it would be a shame to end up at the wreckers as in all honesty it will still go around the world again. But in reality it is just an old truck. So i think i will have to just close my eyes and let it go. I have never had worry selling a truck before but it's just a truck and been a good one. Silly aint it........

Gee wiz swishy It's got AIR Bags AIR con AIR horns AIR seat. MY mate went up with me said, i seen you smiling you were like a dog with 2 tails. IT's got a few kliks on the clok but it's had a recent re build and a bucket load of dough spent on it in the last few years and i payed bugger all for it. Like the old one i want a GO truck not a SHOW truck. Those motors are probably one of the most fuel efficient engines around. the cats and cummins get around 1.7 ks' Doodling around with the computer "that thing will keep me amused for a while" it has got 2.2 up to 2.5 k's to the litre. Not bad a all. won't be hot tired and buggerd at the end of the day. We just landed a 5 year conrtact out in country so no more black stuff for me. Will have to spend the odd nite in the lounge room sleeper, i think i can handle that.

Chocs ,hope i can train the new dog to be as obediant as the old dog. i will park them next to one another so the old dog can give the new dog a few lessons. Not so mutch like bulldog any more more like a poodle in my books. The way of the world now days.......

Hope so too mate. i would quite like to keep the old one but the new job is a bit more demanding and the old dog is flat out keeping up. The old dog was like a clock you wind it up in the morning and it would go all day no matter what...
