A break from restoring trucks was created by Inter-Action
I reckon it is good to take a break from restoring trucks and have another interest. Mine is old engines and i will try to
dig up some more photos for later. I hope i haven't posted this one. To bad if i have. It is a 6 hp Bagshaw , built around 1920. Note that it has electric
start mechanism. Bottom right you may be able to see the Nissan starter motor which runs the V belt around the flywheel. Sorry that it is only short video . Photos are not my stronger point.

No. I don't seem to have any time for rallies. Port Lincoln is so far away from most of the rallies. I was doing a couple of shows on the peninsular up until a couple of years ago. Like a lot of things . No shows for the near future. The first of the photos was a short video, but didn't come out that way. I will have to brush up my photo/video skills. About a third of my engines etc. , are on display in a museum in Tumby Bay. I will try and find a photo. Fingers crossed. Second photo is a few years ago at the Cummins show.

We are also tragics with engines and mowers to top it off. I must get back to the McDonald and get it running smoother and the 8hp Lister needs some tlc before selling it off as it is now too heavy for me to handle. Our little hit n miss engines will always be with us and have a couple of Buzacotts awaitng their turn and an Inter M which was burnt out in the bush fires and is very stuck and all alloys are long gone back into the ground.

Be it firearms or V8 engines, the question is not "why should you have them?"
, but "who are you to demand that I justify them?"

I have a fifties "Be Bo" chainsaw, courtesy of my grandfather.
Absolute monstrous thing, made before the arrival of the "safety chain"
... ... one day ... ... maybe I'll clean it up a bit, but it still starts fourth or fifth pull.
