Hey Charger,
That was definatly a 'whoops" moment lol. Truck was in reverse with the handbrake slapped on but a worn 289 (??) and a handbrake that wasnt the best was no match for the thumping lanz, which then proceeded to push the truck away from the ramp when i got the rear wheels on! Knew i shoulda worn my brown pants that day!
Melon,
Which ones on the back are yours mate? Nice load of gear!
Cheers,
Slim

Hey you blokes. That is so not fair to put up pics of things I want. Unfortunately, the longer you are in this hobby the longer the bucket list gets. Great stuff.

Here's our Rumely, Bit of a hybrid, mostly model L 1927 with some of next model W. Oil cooled, the exhausts go through a venturi at top of radiator, the theory being the harder it's working the more cooling air getting drawn through.
With higher compression than normal [when it was new anyway] and being able to run hotter with oil coolant it vaporised the kerosene better, these factors caused pre-ignition so there is a double carby with one side supplying water from the tank in front of motor, the kero tank mounted in the chassis below is about the same size, presumably fuel and water was used in equal amounts. 25 HP, 3 speeds and diff lock. Bought new by an uncle and used 'til 1946. Apologies for pic size, have cropped it in puter album but this is as from scanner. David.

Seeing as we've now got a dedicated page to tractors, thought i might aswell be the first to throw some pics on of current resto projects, im sure there's plenty out there!
So , here's mine at the moment, a 1947 Field Marshall series 2.
Had been sitting in the weather a LONG time, hence the tree stump growing through the drawbar. I'm rebuilding the engine due to extensive water damage.
