Hi Tony My dad had a cat d69u and it used to get moved around with a single drive c1800 inter or a c1900 acco and a bogie float.,i think you would be struggling to have it legal on a single axle trailer . That was 35 odd years ago I remember dad saying a week before the acco was traded in they had to shift a d6c and it had to go throught the weighbridge to get there ,painted a new higher gross on the side of the old acco And BSed their way passed the scaleys at the weighbridge, that ofcoarse that gcm is right.Got home and repainted the right weights back on it ;D ian.

Did you just buy the 22.5 rims and fit them to the original dodge spiders?

yes picked the rims in my travels one from here one from there! tyre service gave me a few, they are only $130 new mine are 8.25x22.5 which are 10" wide they fit no worries you might have to wind lock stops out a bit, tyres are cheaper than all the rag tyres in the old sizes
you can get em for $285-$350 new, good enough for these old jiggers
