Thirteen leaves plus three in reserve in case that pack budges more than a few inches! Maybe make a plan to take a few (and more) leaves out to get some ride quality. How many in a standard spring pack for that model?

Hi mammoth most of these models that I have seen have
the helper leaf springs on top fixed to separate shackles
The manual shows a total of 19 leaves.
last time the truck was registered it was a gross of 6.7 tonne

I don't know if anyone wants to know what I have been up to but here goes- I have had the steering box overhauled, replaced drag link, replaced kingpins and bushes, replaced all rubber boots and put the axle back on. It doesn't sound much but it all takes time.

Sounds like a heap of progress, to me. There's some expensive bits in that lot.

fill these things take a lot longer than most people realize we always like photos
Good to do the king pins and stuff related to the front end now as it's never gunna be easier to get to than it is at the moment
