defective wrote: These stupid high gearshift levers appear to be a throwback to those ape hanger handlebars you see on those moronic HD's etc. FFS !!

Defective you have hit the proverbial nail, what is the connection between high sticks and high bars? Very low levels of intelligence.

Tad late on the ad ChainDrive, but thanks for letting me know - that's the trouble when you go on holiday; didn't return until yesterday and our power was off. For 36 hours+!

Just when I thought Australia was about to be presented with the world yobbo championship gold medal the yanks slipped in under us.

Here is the full day's proceedings. It is 40 minutes long so just scroll through to get the picture. Don't worry about the flags and National Anthem - I went to a family barbecue in a small Texas town and they played the anthem and saluted the flag while the steaks got cold! At least they did not have prayers like before an airshow I went to - also in Texas.

You are correct, we have got right off track.

Here is one to start with.

Here is my Albion on the back of my Kenworth (before I saw the light and got a Volvo F86). It went to TOLL because they had the same truck back in the 50's where they started in Newcastle.

I took it to their workshop in Wagga but have never seen it since it was rebuilt.

On the way to TOLL in Wagga.

I found this on Facebook.

Has anyone seen it in real life? Better still, anybody got photos of the restoration? I was told they went down to the last nut and bolt and it is close to concourse. I believe it might be in Melbourne.
