Howzat for a parts rip-off

My old man had a system for removing the impeller from an Inter water pump......get a 10 year old to stick his fingers inside the impeller vanes to take up the shock,and drive it off with a hammer and drift......it works.........Ive been throwing Inter waterpumps into the scrap,if theres the least play in the bearing ,nobody wants them.
