Sarge, I will have to get Podge to give you a more detailed explanation but he wanted enough thickness to smooth iy out and highlight the lines pressed into the panels so that they were still distinct once the topcoats went on otherwise they can get hidden as the paint goes on (Us restorers tend to put more paint on it then they had out of the factory where it was often the thinnest coat possible that would hide the steel).
Andy, Mrs P had a knee reconstruction about 2 weeks ago. The crutches will be around for a while and her knee brace for about 6 months. She is keen to work out how to climb into the Inter and go for a spin though

(the mark on the guard is where a paint imperfection is being polished out)
and of course there are some left over spares

I am plannng to use the windows out of the door, keeping the rest of the glass, interior handles and winder mechanisms as spares. The doors in this photo are fairly rusted.

G'day Bruce,
She's lookin'good in the neighbourhood !
does the red colour have a name ? also is it 2 pac or acrylic as it has a great gloss .
I am thinking I'd like to paint my Dodge red , as that was its original colour, but my favourite at the moment is the new Volkswagen Golf GTI red which I reckon would look the "Berries"on it.
best regards Harleigh.
