Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!

Hi Harleigh,
The paint is 2-pack. The white is 4 layers of topcoat and the red 6 layers of base red and 4 layers of clear to give it some depth (and stop a white powedery finish developing on the red). The colour is International Red (and is its original colour)
Sarge, it has been a grotty old thing for over 5 years so I may need to learn how to wash and polish it properly rather than the quick squirt it used to get.
An ACCO owner in the club has seen the truck, likes the colour and is about to see the red on it so the colour may become common.
As a type this the signwriter is busy adding his touches, after which a bit of black on the steps and some final touches (such as the roof lights) and it will be home tomorrow or Wednesday.
I sent a link to the photos to an HCVC Member who doesn't take part in the forum. He rang me to say he thought I was having a lend of him and had photographed another truck and then realised it was mine. He then asked if he could buy it if he won Tatts.
Depending when it comes home I will post some pictures. It will either be Tuesday Night or the weekend but not between due to XMAS commitments

Good Christmas present, Bruce. No doubt Santa will get jealous as I'm sure the sleigh is getting a bit ratty now.

My Truck didn't make it home for Christmas (in fact it hasn't got home yet). A couple of repairs to trucks needed for their owners to make money took priority.
I am having a get together for those who volunteered their time or gave me parts etc and am going to let them see it in the flesh before I post the final pictures here so look back around 11/12 January.
Podge sent me some photos of the signwriting and here is a sneak peek. The rest will be revealed on the above date.

As a reminder this is how it looked at Australia Day 2004 when it had been on the road for 4 months (It was 'registered' on Club Plates in October 2003). The original tray etc can be seen. It has taken 5 years to get it to its new state.

As you can see not much has changed. Full details of the signwriting will be put up around the 11th January

Hi Bruce, welcome home to your Inter!
She really looks the goods, I'm sure she'll turn a lot of heads when you're out on the road .
If my Dodge turns out half as good I'll be laughing!
Congratulations,
Harleigh.
