browny, when you click on the pic
when it opens up..
the 5th icon underneath it on the rhs
click that, at the bottom, click post it a forum
copy the line it highlights and paste it in here..

Still cant find a number on the chasie. would it b on the flange or on the side. they tell me the later ones are stamped near the front. also had a womans look at the ID plate, 400495 is definatly right but it seams the original motor was a NTC 350 @ 335 not the 903. :-[ It also has a double skin chasie, would this make it a 125 instead of a 124

No, the double skin chassis doesn't make it a 125.
The 125 means it was built with crowbars ( torsion bars), as you mention it still has.

chassis number:
on the top flange of the chassis, rhs in the area above the rear hanger on the front spring
Get some sandpaper...clean the area down or you will not see it!

Thanks again chocs. It would seeam that its more than likley an old cab on a newer chasie. Ill have a good look tomorow though. I've gota get under and get some numbers off the hydraulics to c if they will fit on the new banger.

found it behind the gearshift mount 402398 b_g__r!!! spose that makes it worth about the same as that carton of crownies :'( I'm goin to the pub

Looks like we were both right!!!!
'76 truck, with a '73 cab.
With ALL due respect mate '73- '76 it dosn't matter much. That sump full of water, is going to make it nigh on impossible, to get anyone to give you any more that wrecking/scrap value for the old Girl.
Best advice I can give; Is fix the 903 up (could be just the oil cooler) join a club, put some club rego on her. & have some fun

what is the lowest you would take on the old girl farmer brown?? i know a mate might be interested but he is a little bit tight on cash at the moment
