Gday Trevor,
No, sorry mate I cant answer your question but whilst 'surfing the interweb' I found this which I expect you have seen ?
A real retro Ad.
"Driving your car is childs play compared with handling these big truck-and-trailer combinations" its states....
Thats a bit different to todays advertising blurb
Is this a pic which may be 'swishified' with head transplants ?
Cheers

It may have been built by T J Richards ( later Chrysler) in Adelaide. There might be a little plate or emblem on the LHS firewall.

Roland
The truck you posted is more like this D30 from Merv Brunt's Collection.
Also if you get a chance while you are over here Merv's collection is a must see, it's about 2 hrs from Melbourne.

Do you know were i might find any photos or information confirming that the cab was built by T J Richards

Roland, there's a good collection of Leylands in Warnambool but I can't remember the chap's name. He has a Buffalo and an LAD-cabbed thing among others. I know Murray in SA knows who it is.

Gday Dave,
Yes I am intending to go M1 to Geelong, south along the coast to Warnambool, then East to Colac then shoot North to Ballarat I think.
Andy, Thanks for that, but I will say it quietly... I dont like Leylands !
Cheers
