Unfortunately I wasn't able to get much info on the car carrier, except that dad believed it was based on an ACCO chassis and worked for Arnolds Car Carriers. It was eventually forced off the road by the authorities as being too dangerous to the occupants in the event of an accident. Probably not a bad move!!

That would be them. i couldn't thjnk of their name.
Guessing ... they were taken over or something by TDG......
then Patricks or tolls. they had removable decks as they backloaded containers. I think.........Mark

That red truck from Sydney was a car carrier, its was built by the owner so he could carry that extra car. It was was featured in a Truck n Life magazine a few years back.
