In NSW you can get exemption on vertical exhaust by applying to Dept of Environment & Consevation (or whatever their name is this week!) ph 131555, $50 one off fee, but condition is that 1)registered as table top 2)garaged on farm 3)primary producer 4) used for carting hay
However, the vertical exhaust requirement is age related so not applicable to vehicle first reg before the requirement came in. With conditional rego it doesn't apply as compliance with ADR's is not a requirement, only manufacturers spec.
