G-day Phil .........Welcome back

I have run out of pics in photobucket & this new puter is giving me a hard time.

I"ll put some MG pics up when this thing becomes more agreeable.

Got a bit of help with this .

Sorry ,these are not trucking pics

Old but I like em.

that was as I bought it.

Hot rodding stage before resto job

The only colour pic left. ( Irredescent blue & white)

The only info I have is } 1949 MG-TC........Old rego No...DH-492.

I saw that rego No on a Toyota Corolla about 20 years ago , so I am assuming the MG may have

gone to god.

( Sorry about the car pics on this truck forum)

Don't be Sorry billy...Very nice old car.

You'll probably have to sell your house, to get another one, though..

EDIT: No need to sell the house Billy..
Just did a quick search.. It seems $30-35K will get you into a decent one..

HHHHHMMMMMMM.
I think at this stage, it will remain just a dream, cos, if I did get one

I would be flat out getting into the thing.

I guess I'm a doer.

I've built/restored/rebuilt 15 vehicles in the last 45 years ranging from road cars and racecars to rally cars.

No trucks but I have helped build a very nice trailer for boat transport.

Not sure there are any left in me!

...it seems to me that trucks are a different breed of cattle when it comes to resto work...

...the imperative to have a truck working (as averse to a family car runabout) just about dictates that the years of abuse, neglect and a multitude of sins inflicted upon it by all and sundry tells you that to take on a truck restoration is no mean feat 8-) 8-) 8-)

oldgmc,

Ooooh I know the one you mean without even looking.

I am having the same problem with my bloody ute.

All good and wonderful but nobody wants it.

How can they all be so foolish?

Yours is close to what I'd be after, but not quite. . . (wanna buy a ute?).

Frustrating isn't it?

:( :'(
