Southbound how could you, Scratcha has taste and now to include a photo in a thread about Mercedes with a Kenworth where there is now comparison with the strength and quality of the three pointed star.

I've heard that 1418's are a great truck and a lot of people love them, but the Kenworth has an 8V92 in it, so no contest really! LOL

Scratcha
Nice job on the Benz, I really enjoy the stories and the variety on this forum.

Cheers SB

gday southbound, id heard the story that, if you got yourself a 1418, you could make enough money to upgrade into a kenworth so you could go broke

Scratcha, this may have been covered before-
But SURELY you know and have seen the episode of Bluey (Classic true factual actually-did-happen proper Aussie detective stuff) 1970's TV show?
I can't find it on youtube or I'd put it up.
STARRING the Marsdens 1418 (or one of them anyway) in all it's glory.....
cheers
Rich
