I know of two here in Tassie at ports .... One was originally at Bell Bay no2 wharf ... Since long gone ...and the other at Kings Wharf here in Launceston ... Still in use I think

awesome, classic b&w photos, worth storing up
The following photos were given to me in the 1970's by the Manager (Maurie Sheey) of Freighters in Brisbane.

This is what happens when you're in a rush to finish up on a Friday arvo...
Broke the inlet off intercooler and put some nice dents in the sump and air intake.
Can anyone identify the engine? It did have some manufacturers logos in the castings but these were ground off. I thought it looks like a Chinese Komatsu...
I thought these stickers were very informative...

Bloody Forkies.
Ya, Friday afternoons, always had me extra cautious, looking twice and three times in every direction - and once again just to be sure.
And even then, it wasn't always enough.

(If it's 84* and that thing is still running, who do they think is still going to be around to stop it? duh)

Multinationals are only interested in the profit component of a product.
Mexico's as good as Malaysia and Argentina is as good as America.
Buy it anywhere cheep and sell it anywhere high.
They own the means of production and the logistics of getting the stuff anywhere on the planet, so it's all profit to them.
Didn't you know that?
The Global Financial Market, the biggest con job in the history trade and commerce.
