If you thought Home and Away was good to soak up some time download a copy of 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance'. Many have started it but few have completed the journey.

.
.It doesnt seem the crop of grey nomads are doing them selves any favors , does it, ????
We have been caravanning for 40 odd years, but for the last 18 months or so ,have decided to
stop travelling simply because of the current situation and the problems that may arise.
When you think about it,,, most , if not all, outbreaks have been started by one ( or maybe two)
people travelling while positive (knowingly or not ) and then all hell breaks loose..........
So how do you stop the spread .....maybe stop moving about if at all possible.
But give most people an inch and they take a mile................
Evidenced by the mass exodus from areas that are contemplating lock down........
What is a better way to spread infections ...........??????????
Yeah, so to stop the exodus, they cannot ask people nicely , that is totally ignored...........
So some strict measures have to be employed ..........,stiff cack...........
Some of our pollies are morons ,but others are human and trying to help the situation
which in hind sight may not have been right (but how do you know what IS right.at the time )..............
In saying that ,a lot of the people that are out and about may be classed as morons too ..............
In my opinion ( which probably doesnt count for much ), as well as everybody getting the jab,
STOP TRAVELLING........or be super careful. ...............
.....................Billy..................

As usual Billy You're on Point.......

My really big problem is I must be back in Brisbane to help my son in law Dan out on the Postie Bike Challenge (Brisbane to Darwin) starting two weeks from next Sunday.

Dan has lost his WA and VIC mechanics and about 60 interstate riders but still has 40 QLD and NT people..

Anna says I have to stay out of Qld for 14 days even if Darwin is opened on Thursday.

Will try to sell the car here. Fly home. Any leads!!!!!

Thanks mate but I have a few options. The most likely being the old QANTAS hangar with Leo Idzod and the car club.

If you have a trucking contact to Brisbane I am going to start working on that also.

Hi,

I had really good service from Simon Bros in Darwin nearly 20 years ago to moves some cars to Melbourne and according to their website the same guy, Peter Norris, is still the manager so I would have no problems recommending them. He may still have a picture of my stuff, his 'work of art' on the wall. :)

www.simon.com.au/contact/general.aspx#

They are now located just behind you at Hidden Valley, down on East Arm.

What are you doing with the Cub?
