It is Written

Turkey Railways - TCDD 2-10-0 steam locomotive Nr. 56102 (Beyer Peacock Locomotive Works, Manchester-Gorton 6946 / 1948)
Official photo of a 1929-built Scammell heavy haulage tractor pulling a new Beyer Peacock steam locomotive for Turkey
These 2-10-0 locomotives were a subsequent manufacturing order to that of TCDD Nrs. 56001-79, built in Germany in WWII. They are identical except that they were built in Great Britain. The order was placed before the war but could not be fulfilled until 1948

This trailer can extend to twice its normal length . The trailer has 2 extensions built in it and is remotely steered from the truck drivers cab. It cost about half a million dollars. I couldn't climb under the trailer to see how the steering tri axle operated.

Re the Scammell with the steam loco, ' not a bad load in it's day'!
Bit of an understatement!
Solid rubber wheels and single axle/ bogie trailer, what would that weigh, the loco I mean.
Must have had special permissions in the day to cart them from the factory to the docks?
Check out the size of the gooseneck!
Looks like one solid casting.

Time for Specsavers again Dave. The gooseneck is fabricated. Looks like vintage KW workers have been there by the number of rivets.

Yep! Right again! (specsavers)

Looks like something may have been stolen from a railway bridge foundry.
