On the subject of access doors on the bonnetts, my old 67 W has the same but was never an overnighter, to my knowledge, was this just a mod to make life easy on the run or particular to these trucks. :-?

i would go as far as saying it IS ex Kwikasair. Looking at it i would also say it had a full aero kit too

Just got on the computer, only use my phone at work, and looked at the chassis number.............407614.........3 before my (ex) bosses

his fleet number is/was 1KT290 so is should be just under that. althought Jim Duffield has informed me he knows of 3-4 sleepers just like that one that were numbered *KT258/259/260. But 259 was used to trial the full aero kit which came fitted later on. This truck is featured on the cover of the July 1985 Truck & bus magazine.

OH.....and looking into my photo collection it would have only had the small air scoop and no visor.
