Rich Dodge or Fuso or what ever their name was did do a photo like that and more
It was a add and filmed at the Adelaide airport

Some joker probably has the add on youtube, Im not a Mopar fella so I won't have it

The photo most people think of the trucks were just sitting there, in the article in Truck and bus all those years ago they are all chained on

They drove the lot around and up and down the runway

I don't think it is a Yanky thing because I was watching a youtube propaganda film for the American air crews in Europe in WW2 and they called them aerodromes on it
