Cobba: Thank You for posting all these pictures.. Apparently it was NOT on the list of museums our tour group put on our Down Under tour..
If anyone is in the Melbourne area and interested in busses, contact David Driver the owner of the Gray Line franchise in Melbourne.. He has a large private collection of busses also.

I can remember catching the 169 from the City or the 154 from Manly and rushing up the stairs, hoping to get the front seat on the top deck.
Do you know when the buses were red? I certainly don't remember them being red. Green or blue it was for me.

Great pics, certainly different displays form when I visited. Cobba, did you check out the great bookshop onsite.
There's another great display of coaches and buses at the MOVE museum in Shepparton along with the large truck display.

When the jet engine gets delivered I will git it. Yeah book shop still there along with model busrs.
I remember the green busses, blue came a lot later but red must have been in a different area of Sydney
