Nighty the 2224 I remember when they first came out they where years ahead and probaly still as comfortable and steerable as new trucks.Very strong chassis good safe cab beaut steering crap diffs. engine could have done with a bit more ponys though. A great truck for someone to do up and drive to truck shows.
Not many trucks you could talk to other people while driving.I went to Sydney in a 1626 we passed everything on the road back in the seventies 78 miles an hour flat overdrive zf. Every corner we took I thought was my last as the cabs really had good suspension.I swear the west coasters nearly scubbed the tar we where going that hard around corners my fingers still havent got good blood flow back in them after holding on so hard to stay in the cab.With a payload of two ton of foam you can do great things .

if only the european boys had put a few more hp in their trucks, they would'a sold a lot more, heres one for the two B & B s ,from our lineup, not sure what model but a strong lookin' diesel, probably a bit ahead of it's time...jk
