Nothing,apparently.

Heaps of these bridge beams getting carted on the Northern NSW roads.
Cab over KW out the front then some extremely wide dollies, must be 12' at least.
Lots and lots of small diameter wheels, nothing fancy at the back just another set of wide, wide dollies.
Beam is carried much lower than that NZ setup.
They close couple it all together to run back home.
Had to do 120 in the rocket to make any ground on her, pretty quick truck.

Seen a few long beams past here.......on the turn into the freeway onramp,they generally wipe out a chainwire fence set about 6 metres back from the corner.......longest load comes past are windmill blades ......dunno how long,about three B double s worth ,I reckon.......one night ,the blades ,next night the tower sections,next the base and the works in three or four trucks.

Didn’t someone do that to a GT40 Ford way back in the 70’s.

Thats how they made the VW convertibles.

Didnt see this happen the other night, saw all them pretty sparks in the mirror though




Made for a very very slow drive, saw a unplanned sunrise as I rolled into town in the we small hours
