It was built in 1945 for Dyson's Bus Service in Melbourne. It later saw service in WA.
It had a Ford V-8 in the "bogie" and another driving the rear axles which could be cut in when additional power was needed.

Hi,
Found this "flyer" on a local tourist information board.
I dare say some of us around here would be disappointed if we DIDN'T get our promised ride in this one.

WAGR had three of these. They were called 'Landliner Cheetah's'. They were all converted to semi-trailer buses, pulled by Foden prime movers.

The WAGR ended up with the Landliner which Dysons couldn't get registered in Victoria, and had two Cheetahs built to similar concept but with a lighter body. They only operated for about 6 months before being converted to conventional semi configuration.
