There is a good reason for no sleeper cabs in Oz before WW2....long distance trucking was impossible as long as the railways controlled state governments.

Now that Relay looks like it was a big bugger!?
Hadn't heard of them before so looked them up and discovered: "The Duo-Drive 300A 6x4 was built in 1931 at their factory in Lima, Ohio. It had two straight 8 Lycoming engines side by side. Total of 275hp." ;)
