Update...

Bit the bullet and bought the SUE winch. Thats another item for the truck taken care of.

Bigcam has put me in contact with a fella who can help me with these winches (and hopefully the chain case). I will call him and 'pick his brains'.

The side mirrors on my XF4 are missing. The photos below of side mirrors were taken of the preserved XF4 at the Bandiana Army museum.

Can anyone identify these mirrors :-?

I presume they are late 1960s 'off the shelf' items.

If so, does anyone have a spare set I could buy?

Removed the unwanted Ford 351 V8 motor today :)

Engine hoist sprang a leak so could not lift any weight. Called in the neighbours hay tractor to do the job. All went well. Much easier and quicker than the hoist.

Have a few leads on a good running International V8 to put into the XF4. Will be checking these out over the coming weeks.

ACCO 510

Looking further into this matter, I have noticed that the side mirrors on my truck (whilst in service) appear to be the 510A type you stated. I had not noticed this before. Maybe the mirrors on the XF4 at Bandiana are not original or are replacements.

Thanks Paul :)

I tend to agree with you on this one Paul. From the 'in service' photo, the arm mounting bracket on the back of the mirror appears to be offset to one side. Also, the mirror has been mounted so that it sits in closer to the cab. I suspect that this is to minimise contact with bushes etc.
