In 1985 Allis Chalmers became Deutz Allis, their air cooled motors were fitted to Gleaner combine harvesters. They performed well however with our summer heat and chaff it was not a good combination.

Red Inter lose a stub axle? I see the wheel under the truck. My little 4x4 Inter did that to me. Steering knuckle fell to bits.

Greetings. In 1981 I got my first passport and went on my first safari to the UK via America on a 6 week Trek America trip. These and some more to follow are basically the last photos of trucks that I took besides the odd one here and there including the ones I drove in Africa. The b & w Peterbilt I think may have been posted before by Werk but the Wheelchock was having another crack at scanning so I didn't want to interfere and maybe she'll soften to scan some more in her own time. The instamatics were taken in Nuri, Cavan and Gepps Cross and the Inter with the unfortunate steering was on a trip to Sydney and back with a family friend in his M.A.N. Stay tuned
