Thanks mate. He lived just up the road and down the next road from my uncle and aunty in Timboon, and we used ta see his SAR every time we visited. When my uncle was bein' buried up the hill in Scotts Creek, the SAR came past, and GM music caused me ta get lost in imaginin', if ya get me drift. There was a bloke that lived next door to him that had a UD on livestock. In the North Geelong piccies, please tell me ya have one of the big red tri drive, or bogie and lazy tipper that Russell Hovey of North Geelong had in the late 70's/ early 80's!!!!

The green KW looks like an early model can't seem to see a long grab rail my computer won't enlarge maybe you can elaborate ? PaulFH

Your on the money Wee-allis better eyes than me .Another clue is i think the early imports didn't have a KW badge above the grill but had the name KENWORTH above the grill ?

Swanny, I take it you're meaning the Manson's from Bunyip Kw. Under the mag glass the cab has 2 lugs where the grab rail should be mounted- the bottom one is missing along with the rail. Detroit continuous power badge by the Kw badge so I'd assume it was 8V71- taken at Angaston Cement Works.

The Manson KW is a 71/72 model Aus built truck... No later than around chassis number 400300
