Curtis Publishing, Philadelphia PA USA, had a whole fleet of these that were in service into the 50's.. Used mainly to haul rolls of paper from the railroad terminals.

Brocky45 Curtis must have been a small publisher, or had a huge fleet of trucks. I hope you were able to save one?

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Worked one in the quarry for a few days 1971 Lang.
GM 6-71 and 5 speed, about 20 mph top speed.
That one set up as a water truck - lot of water used on
the roads during the dry season.
Note the door removed - most of the unit's tippers and
other trucks doors removed for quick exit. Also reduced
cabin pressure in the event of an explosion.

Definitely has been hit with a big ugly stick but I am afraid has to be disqualified as it is a timber tractor (for snigging logs out of forest) and not a truck.
