It was a credit to HCVC and the organisers/volunteers. The venue was great with green grass & trees, beats concrete & tar any day. Big thumbs up. :)

Both the spectators and exhibitors kept commenting about the green backdrop. I also liked the large roofed areas: perfect for the food and sales outlets, and small displays. I have a varied selection of photos, but I'll wait a day and then put up the ones not covered by others. I'll start with the Healesville selection, which has its own thread already. The fire museum was at that one, with three appliances. There were about ten traction engines, most/all trucked in (the navy steam lorry was there too), and some older cars and light commercial vehicles.

G'day mairjimmy Colin
Sorry we did not meet....
There was a lot of people there and maybe I blended in a bit too much ?
I was the one in shorts and t-shirt carrying a can in one hand and a camera in the other..
I was there for about 15 hrs and met many people and even got a shout-out by HCVCA yesterday.
I am in Melbo area until Wed if you are still local?

When I get back I will put up a Flickr feed with all my pics.

Cheers

What a Ripper of a weekend, great Venue, loads of vehicles of all shapes & sizes from motorbikes, hotrods, sports cars, cars, ute's & vans, tractors, buses & coaches, trucks of all shapes & sizes. At the Vehicle count there were 396 & that was after a few had already departed. Bigger than the biggest Sandown count I believe. Plenty of variety for everyone. Got to meet Roland the Pom, and several of the guys from the forum. My legs are suffering today from all the walking to see it all. Cheers Tim ;)

Thanks for the photos Swishy looks like I missed some in my walking around.

I walked around taking photos until I was on duty at 10am I then kept getting caught in conversations and parts pickup then it was home time

100kg of Fergie Wheel Weights when combined with everything else I was carrying gave my XP Ute's springs a workout on the way home. I felt a lot more bumps on the way home than the way down! :)

Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!
