Some NZ Commers was created by John H
This is Pearses Transport back in the sixties, my Grandfather and Father had at the time, all the vehicles were from the local Rootes group dealer, W Gill & Sons. The odd petrol in there too, along with the TS3's etc.

John,

There's a one-eyed Commer fan in here - his name is Bruce Gunter, aka Cunning Stunt - his father drove a old Commer as a car carrier in Australia.... he'd like this photo!

That yellow van was called a Commer 1500 (for its 15cwt payload) and it was later also marketed in the UK as a Dodge or a Fargo.

I though that little yellow van might have just as easily sported a morris badge as a commer badge from what I recall.... I beleive I can put my hands on such a van now, that is doing relief work as a hay shed if anyone is interested.
