I saw the Lamsons trucks heading East over Westgate on Saturday. These were two prime movers each pulling an empty float with about 80000 wheels. I suppose that even "empty" the floats must weight 100 tonnes at least and they were full on the Jake brake coming down the bridge.
Also Roland, that is a Super Hippo at Lake Goldsmith, I thought as a closet Leyland fan you would have got that one correct.

2012.. started planning the next trip in my head.
Basically Fly to Perth, fly to Alice, Drive to Brisvegas then up to Cairns, a week or so in each place, visiting Adelaide and Melbourne on route. Poss fly Melb to Bris.Thats the bare bones so far.
As I say, its only a plan (at the moment )

Trev, I know you like pics with boats in them in the top end but they could be invading us from the north we better get those Catlina's up and going soon or maybe turn that big gun out to sea. Dave
