This is at Mt Gambier and if it flooded in this park S.A. would have been totally underwater as this is at the top of the Blue Lake or just across the road. No this cabin looks a sif it was removed to make way for a swimming pool plus it was not in all that good condition compared to all the others.

I get confused easily LOL. I thought you were at Echuca.

Your teachers were kind to you, they asked me to saty away.

The caravans back at Echuca were taken away for spares or restorartion but the fixed annexes were torn down and scrapped. Just one company had done over 300 so far and an endless line up of more to do.

Down in Portland n keeping with the theme from day 1 we found a storage yard absolutely filled with wind turbines in parts. Check out the size of the turbine covers next to the utes.

Wind turbines appear to be getting put in in a big way in some places these days

They sure are a lot bigger than most of us can imagine

They are like bum holes around here, everyone has got one. Took a video up close to one and the soun d is not unlike a jet airplane flying overhead. Yet the critters in the fields dont care. We kind of like them too.

There is a 38 tower wind farm a couple of k's North of me, whose operating rumble I hear when the wind is slightly East of North The last of them are a bigger structure than the first lot, and what is planned for the next one further toward Burra will be bigger again. Add to that is a huge windfarm/solar farm planned for East of Burra and built to feed into the SA/NSW connector currently under construction. It seems the physical size of the towers/generating nacelle etc will eventually be limited by the ability to move the components by road and lift those components into position during construction.

Went back down to the port again n watched woodchips come in n be tipped big time. 3 large tipping ramps taking B doubles up. Never knew that the front trailer are pulled together n tge gates inbetween unlocked so it became one long body. The big Komatsu doesnt work hard here even with wings n hungry boards.
