Hope these pics arn't too big, havin trouble down sizing them but hope to work that out later, dam p/bucket wont let me for now :
Roland the little red one is the same as mine will be/one day...
Bigcam the bus is a later version with the Austin running gear not the VW powered ones. The Austin powered also had a truck style too.
Here is a coupla shots of the chassis:
Back half
Front Half
As ya can see the front had a single leaf spring and the rear is a swing arm from the center of chassis with 2 coils on each side, yeah bit weird i know but so is its looks!!!
Cheers,
Lewy

Lewy, an easy way of resizing pictures is to E mail them to yourself. When the window comes up do you want to make your pictures smaller, click on more options, then select the 800X600 option. Once you've e mailed them to yourself, go to your e mail click on the e mail, then click file, then save attatchments. Save them to a folder, then upload them to the Bucket.

Lewy,
Welcome to the forum. A Matador in Oz
Like the smaller M-Bs, not something I'd have expected to be exported to Australia, but there you go...
You may find these chaps useful (no English yet):

Thanks for the welcome to the forum,
These had a big 25Hp VW engine (1100cc) and a VW trans, but after a short time i am led to beleive they went to a ZF 4 speed crunch box as these where much stronger. After all it is a truck and with a 10'x 6' tray like mine has it would need a strong box, can u imagine the aussies not using it too the max .
Mine didnt come with an engine but has the ZF trans, I might try and sneek in a few more Hp into this one as I would like too keep up with some traffic
If anyone has any pictures of these being used in australia I'd like to see them, espesially if they have some history.
I'd like any leads as to where there might be others here in australia, even parts would be appreciated. I have asked on other forums too but ya neva know, there's a lot of people here with lotsa knowledge
Cheers

From busntruck, this is a pic of his grandfather's Tempo which was a glazier's lorry before it was converted to a mobile home.
