Give your glass's a clean Ronny, that looks like a Cummins style sort of Detriot of the 855 variety, possibly out of a Lousiville looking at the mounts.

well,gotta back you up there BC.....its an 855 but more specifically its an N14 celect plus with a holset air compressor & late model fuel pump mod.mounts are blurry but yep.....got fraud appearances.....best looking detroit I ever saw!

ha ha you would be wrong, it is a Detroit series 60, well done one track. and as for were it came form it was once sitting in an argosy.

Sorry, Little_red - I polished my glasses, peered at your pics REAL closely .. and I gotta go with Bigcam. Your pics show a Cummins.
The block is all the wrong shape for the Series 60, and the colour is wrong, too.
The lower area of the Cummins blocks is dead flat .. the Detroit Series 60's have a wavy shape, following the outline of the cylinders.

Dan - Little_red's pics, definitely shows a Cummins design block. It does appear to be one of the 855 family blocks. It could be a DongFeng Cummins, which would immediately explain the ventilated block .. :'(
