On the Cummins engine topic, I see an 84 Acco Prime Mover for sale, the owner thinks it is a 903 as it has a turbo, but there are no 903 moldings on the rocker covers and the plates are gone. I don't think it is a 903 but it is a V8 so would it be a VT190? My uncle had a 903 powered Acco single drive and it had the big Eaton diff, but this one has the small diff and only good for 13.9 tonne. It's got "Made in England" on the alloy parts on top of the engine. I would think the 903 would nearly have gone from Acco's ( or any truck ) by then. I did a site search and this was the closest thread that showed up.

Is it an auto? The army or Air Force had a heap of single drive 1950C auto's.

The said ACCO is either a 13 or 15 speed. It has the 5 spoke hubs on the steer, I think ACCO's came out with the IH hub about 88, or maybe the time when Navistar started to appear but so did the straight 6 Perkins either 160hp or 210hp. I remember the Army Acco's, and think they might have been a bit later. Thanks for your help.
