By your pictures, one of Nev's more interesting stops must have been the big Mid America truck show in Louisville KY..

They are two different BUT excellent shows.. The Mid America show in March at Louisville KY is a big indoor sales show of mostly new equipment although ATHS always has a booth with a few antique/historical vehicles.. The Iowa 80 Truckers reunion is in July at the Iowa 80 truck stop in Wolcott Iowa, and tends to be mostly antique trucks. The original builder of the Truck stop was Bill Moon who was also very active in ATHS. The facility is still owned and operated by his children and grandchildren. Since Nev was there they have built a large museum / display area with about 80 antique trucks in it.. If you make some prior arrangements you can probably get a tour of the restoration shops..

Shane Pendergast brought his 1965 Peterbuilt 351 to this weekend's event at Glen Innes. 235 small cam pushing through a double overdrive 13speed and with a 4.11 diff ratio riding on 24.5" tyres she has pretty long legs.

Still LHD

Is it just me or are high-rise cabs and sleepers rarer in the US?
