Thanks Swishy !!This old girl is parked up in the back of a timber yard , only open on thursday of the week, going to try and get access to the yard and take some close up shots and see if she is for sale & get some serial numbers no doubt some one will be able to give a date when she was born will keep posted :)

Hydro -pneumatic suspension axle on mobile machinery is 12,000kg.The guy i used to work with had an old R/T,went 27ton on 2 axles,no suspension,just rigid/pivot.Doing the rail overpass at the PA Hospital,he went past the Inspection place at Dutton Pk several times a day.After about a year,they wandered out ,pulled him up,and put him on some new portables they had just got.Just to test the scales.Oops...27ton,.....around $7000 fine as I remember.
