That looks similar to a root vegetable washer we used to own

oliver...........did you shovel (or whatever) the stuff into the high end and wait for it to pop out the low end ???

Hi Bily no need to shovel in the hopper and feed Shute is missing from the non motor end,
Or maybe was a portable set up and the hopper and feed Shute
Was on a separate stand not showing in the pic
Had one in the soil pit to screen out the vegetation for years in the sixties

I think it would run better if the driveshaft was aligned.
