nahhhh.....i worked it out.....
billy p.....you shoulda stayed fixing them rather than go driving them.....you coulda helped a lot more younger mechanics like me back then get the gist of it all.......
had to do it the hard way without ya and now know I still aint up to your standard......

And [edit] four of these in line, put the loco in locomotive.
(plus one sideways further back for maybe a generator or something?)

did you get a pic of the outside of the loco as well???
interesting setup....
driving thru a gearbox or dropbox?
i'm guessing a 3 axle shunter???

did they need 4 to increase the chances of 1 still running to bring it home?
Seriously railways like multiple engines when using truck motors - their mechanics seem to see all non-railway specific designs as fragile.
