Another truck that i liked was...........

an R model Mack belongin to Bobby Hayes of Bega, mostly driven by Tony Hayes,

& had a 12V71 up front. The bonnett etc had to be lengthened to cover all the machinery of corse.

They were always comin up with some thing out of the ordinary

but i am now not a truck driver ,
on a good day i can remember
that i used to be a truck driver.

i remember that truck going up Ousley thought it was odd looking until i caught up with it one day and had a look great looking truck it certainly jogged my memory well done Billy :)

Hi Billy .. it was just something to do with the Hayes Bega people....they were always BTO's and had V12's in a couple of other bangers....Kenworths and a Pete springs to mind...

The transport industry lost a real innovative bloke when Bobby Hayes was

killed in that light plane bingle.
