Does a two-speed diff intended to go behind a four-speed direct gearbox have different reduction than one intended to go behind a five-speed direct? (e.g.: .7 reduction vs .85, or such to give even splits)

Hi asw120 don't overthink it just use wot Yu got,
As long as the sticks shakin u still makin I think there were all
Combinations used and tryed and all were OK in the day
Then boxes got bigger or smaller (if your a Vbus driver)
And the two speed faded. BWWIK
